Happy Father’s Day

As Father’s Day is approaching I can’t help but think of my Dad. He was such a special part of my life, and I have him to thank most for my entrepreneurial spirit.
Growing up in a house full of females from my mom, sisters and even our dog, I was determined to prove to my father “that girls could do it too!”.
When I was 15 1/2 years old I persuaded the local McDonald’s into hiring me. Shortly thereafter, I was promoted to assistant manager by 17yrs and began hiring my sisters and friends to work for me. 
Fast forward to the present . . . My Dad never knew about my B. toffee company that I started almost 10 years ago and have grown into a successful business. He fought a very long and courageous fight with Alzheimer’s for 13 years.
I do know he’d be pretty proud. 
I Love you Dad. Miss you greatly. May you continue to Rest In Peace.
