Makes 12 pinwheel cookies
Preparation:
Heat oven to 375 degrees
Line baking sheet with parchment paper
Ingredients:
1 sheet of Puff Pastry (we use Pepperidge Farms)
2 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
*1/2 cup B. bits (chopped B. toffee to bits! – order here)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 egg – whisked together
*B. bits can be made by chopping whole pieces of B. toffee with a sharp knife or can be ordered online.
Directions:
Defrost puff pastry. Lightly cover surface with flour and roll out puff pastry evenly.
Brush puff pastry with melted butter.
Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the puff pastry.
Place B. bits and chocolate chips in a bowl and mix together.
Sprinkle mixture over puff pastry.
Roll puff pastry into a rolled log.
Brush the egg wash all over the log.
Slice log into 1/2 inch wide pieces for pinwheel.
Place pinwheels on parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake 375 degrees for approximately 15 minutes or until puff pastry turns golden brown.
Sprinkle with a little extra chopped B. bits right out of oven to melt over the top of cookies.
