B. Giving: Casa Teresa

B. Giving means being a part of our community. Here at B. toffee we love supporting causes that are deeply rooted in the Orange County community. One such cause is Casa Teresa, a program that guides pregnant women and new mothers in learning lifelong skills to end cycles of homelessness, abuse, and addiction helping them regain control of their futures ultimately creating families that thrive. 

Since 1976 Casa Teresa has provided over 6,800 pregnant women, babies and children  who would otherwise have no support with shelter, education and other resources. Originally located in Santa Ana, founders Neill and Sally Sullivan opened the doors to their four unit cottage to mothers facing homelessness with no where else to go. Today, they have tons of supportive services and programs to meet new mothers needs with everything from adoption services to programs serving women that need a longer stay. Now located in the charming Old Towne Orange, an area that provides nearby access to healthcare, public transportation and stores.

As much as they do for the community, Casa Teresa is always looking to continue to expand and deepen services to empower young mothers even more and nurture healthy Orange County families. Each year B. toffee helps Casa Teresa’s Founders Guild to raise money for their great cause by selling canisters of our award-winning confection. We are proud to support a cause so close to our hearts that directly helps those in our community this holiday season.
