B. Creative this Easter
Your 2020 Easter celebration may look a little different than in previous years. Instead of gathering with friends and family, going to church, or having group Easter egg hunts, you’re stuck at home due to the coronavirus pandemic. Re-arranging plans to make sure you and your loved ones have a Happy Easter while social distancing takes creativity. Here are some ways you can celebrate Easter from home or share some Springtime happiness with our delicious B. toffee.
Have an Easter egg hunt at home. Whether that is in your front yard, back yard, or even inside your family’s home, plan an Easter egg hunt. You can replace typical pre-packaged candy or spare change with chopped up pieces of B. toffee!
Watch your Easter service from home. Most churches who are closed due to the COVID-19 virus are still offering online worship services. Pull up your church’s service on your laptop or television and make yourself a cup of coffee with a side of toffee. We’ve been told it’s a morning favorite for lots of our customers!
Send a First Responder or Health Care provider some Easter goodies. Many first responders and health care providers will be spending their Easter working hard to make sure everybody else is taken care of. We should take care of them too. An easy way to do that is to send some Easter treats to your nearby hospitals, fire stations, or police department to spread some Easter cheer to those who need it the most.
Bake with your kiddo’s. Looking for a fun and simple activity to do with your kids that is interactive and easy? Try making Toffee Ice Cream Sandwiches. You’ll need vanilla ice cream, milk or dark chocolate toffee (or both), and either premade cookies, premade cookie dough, or homemade cookie dough. In a medium size bowl, combine two cups of ice cream, one cup of cookie crumbles, and half a cup of chopped B. toffee bits together until mixed well. Then sandwich a big scoop of the ice cream mixture in between two cookies. Once this step is completed, roll the exposed ice cream into chopped bits of toffee until it is coated well. If you plan on making the cookies yourself, put a half cup of chopped B. toffee in the dough to make it super delicious. We have a recipe tutorial to follow if you are a visual learner.
