B. Buzz: Hoag Promise + Now in Hoag Gift Shop!

At B. toffee we believe that November is a great time to reflect on everything that we have to be grateful for. The perfect way for us to express that gratitude is by giving back to our community. Whether it be the Girl Scouts, Ronald McDonald house or our local hospital, its important to us to give back to the community that supports us day in and day out. Today our post is about our local health center, Hoag Hospital. 

In 1944, the vision for a community hospital for the coastal towns of Orange County was born. Today, Hoag is a regional healthcare network that provides for 30,000 inpatients and 350,000 outpatients annually. In order to maintain and improve upon their excellent care, Hoag Hospital leaders began a campaign in 2014 called Hoag Promise. Hoag  Promise is defined as an effort “Lead, Innovate & Transform” in order to best use philanthropy to accelerate innovation organization-wide. This means that every leader is engaged and every program enhanced to ensure that extraordinary care is available to our coastal Orange County community. B. toffee is proud to provide favors for the many campaign events and appreciates all of the generous benefactors to Hoag Promise. In exciting news for B. toffee and B. lovers alike, we are now offered in the Hoag Gift Shop! Among their great selection of specialty cards, fresh flowers, and gifts they now offer our handcrafted, award-winning toffee! Be sure to stop by and pick some up to cheer up your loved ones or support your healthcare providers with a delicious treat. The gift shop is open from 11 am to 7 pm on weekdays and 11am to 3 pm on weekends, located on the Lobby Level of the Sue and Bill Gross Women’s Pavilion.
